Sowerby Bridge, as viewed from Boggart Lane, on the way up to Norland on the south of the town. In the centre of the photograph, the clock tower is part of the old Town Hall, from the days when the town had its own council. Nowadays the building is used by Lloyds Bank and the town comes under Calderdale Council. Below the old Town Hall are three of the arches of the old Lancashire and Yorkshire Railway. You can catch the train from the station to Manchester, Leeds and Preston.
